Four days where everyone shoots the same thing

For those four days Port Hercule holds more large yachts than any other week of the year, and with them a few hundred people carrying cameras. By Saturday everyone has the shot from the quay. It gets interesting where the others are not standing: on the water, on board, and in the hour before the gates open.

The airspace over Monaco is tight, so the drone took off and landed by hand from the deck, outside the restricted zones. The rest came from the boat: yachts under way, the harbour entrance, the city behind it. Editing happened in the evenings, so the material could go out during the show rather than two weeks later.

What came out of it

A short opener for social media, the yachts filmed from the water and aerials of the harbour. Plus stills that work for a listing, a website and the press. If you are in Monaco next year and need material: two days of notice is enough.
