Exploded view rendering.
Every part in its place with air in between. Out of the same CAD data the thing is made from, not out of a drawing done by hand.

In a lot of companies the exploded views still exist as line drawings from a drafting package, often made by an engineer who left years ago. The problem is not how they look. The problem is that every change to the product means the drawing has to be redrawn by hand, and because that takes time, at some point it stops happening. Then the manual no longer matches the part in the box.
When the view comes out of the CAD model it works differently. Change a screw in the design and the new view comes out of the same scene, from the same angle, with the same callout numbers. You can also output that scene as a short animation in which the parts move apart, and that cuts the number of calls to your service desk more than any extra paragraph of text in the manual.
