METSTRADE photographer.
Three days at RAI Amsterdam, the industry supply show that matters. No consumers walk this floor. Buyers do.

At METSTRADE there is no hero boat and no public walking past. Buyers come, from yards, distributors and design offices, for three days, with a schedule. For photography that means the usual trade show shots do not work. A busy aisle and a smiling visitor say nothing here, because the decision is made sitting down.
What counts is the product in a hand and the conversation at a table. I photograph the fitting, the electronics or the material so that scale and finish read properly, and then the meetings themselves, because a picture of your sales team with a yard customer is worth more afterwards than a view of the stand. If a catalogue is coming up anyway, I shoot the items cut out beforehand, and then the show images and the catalogue images agree on colour.

Stand design and planning
From the floor plan to the graphics. I plan the stand so it works with the hall rather than against it.
