Yacht drone video.
A boat looks like a boat from the dock. From the air it looks like the reason somebody wants one.
Send an enquiry →Three moves that do the work
Most yacht footage from the air is the same shot flown badly: the drone chasing the boat from behind at half speed. Three moves do nearly all the work instead. The orbit at deck height that shows the lines, the top down pass that shows the deck layout and the wake, and the pull away that puts the boat into its water.
Each one needs a different speed over the ground, which means the helm has to know what is coming. So we agree the runs before leaving the berth, with a direction that keeps the sun where it belongs. Over a marina or near people the flight needs clearance, and I bring that rather than hoping nobody asks.
