Anguilla has almost no harbour infrastructure, so yachts lie at anchor off Road Bay. For filming that is the ideal case: no dock, no neighbouring boat, just hull, sand bottom and horizon. Because the island is flat there is no mountain behind the shot, so the frame lives on the colour of the water instead.
Most yachts come across from Sint Maarten for the day, half an hour of running. Clearance is still required each time, and drone flights are filed in advance. Off Sandy Island and Prickly Pear the water sits so clear over pale ground that the aerial works with no grading at all.
