Nowhere else in Croatia gives a boat a wall of old town behind it. That shot is the reason charter clients pick Dubrovnik, and it is also the reason drone flying here is restricted. Over the old town and the harbour nothing goes up without written permission.
So the work splits. The city backdrop is shot from the water with long glass, which is legal and looks better anyway. The aerials happen around the Elaphiti islands and Cavtat, where the airspace allows it. Planned that way the day gives both, instead of one cancelled flight.
