Le Marin is one of the largest charter bases in the Caribbean, and because Martinique is French the same drone rules apply as in Europe. In practice that means no extra permit process, no local licence, and a flight that can be planned the way it would be on the Côte d'Azur.
The bay at Le Marin is wide and shallow, and outside Sainte-Anne it turns clear and deep straight away. For a shooting day that keeps everything close: interiors at the dock, running shots in the bay, and for the drone a short run round the headland to Les Anses d'Arlet.
