Valencia still has the basin built for the America’s Cup, and it is one of the few places where a large yacht can be filmed inside architecture rather than against a breakwater. The city put money into that waterfront and it shows on camera.
For the trade the city matters as a departure point: the crossing to Ibiza starts here, and boats come in for work between charters. That makes weekday mornings the useful window, before the wind fills in from the sea in the early afternoon.
