A large share of Europe's small boats and a larger share of its furniture are built in Poland, and much of it leaves the country to be sold by somebody else, with somebody else's photographs. For a maker who wants to sell under their own name, the images are the first thing that has to exist, and they have to be as good as the ones the brand downstream would have made.
Renderings are the practical route to that, because they are built from the construction data that already exists. Every model, every fabric, every wood in the same light, produced over the winter and ready for the spring catalogue and the January trade fairs, with no sample to build and nothing to transport.
