In Dubai the product is usually sold in a showroom, and a showroom has room for one unit, not for the whole range. Renderings put the other eleven on the screen behind it, in the same light and the same angle as the one that is physically there. For a buyer deciding between finishes, that comparison is the sale, and it is impossible to photograph.
The timing follows the boat show in the late winter, with the printed and screen material due weeks beforehand. Since the work runs on engineering data rather than on a studio, it can be produced from Germany over the winter and delivered in time for the stand, without a sample unit travelling anywhere.
