The American season is decided at Miami in February and at Fort Lauderdale in the autumn, and the material for a stand is finished long before either. A rendering is the only way to have a picture of something that is still being built, which is usually exactly the situation: the model being shown is the one that has not shipped yet.
Distance is not a factor in this work. The job runs on engineering data and file transfer, and the time difference mostly helps, since a revision sent at the end of a US working day is answered by the start of the next one. Nothing is crated, nothing is flown anywhere, and nobody has to be on site.
