Superyacht photographer, Greece.
Athens, Alimos, Lavrio, Corfu and the Cyclades. Shot on turnaround day, because that is the only day a charter yacht is empty.

Greece is a charter market first, and that changes what the photographs have to do. A yacht here is rarely for sale; she is for hire, week by week, and the client choosing her is sitting in London or Munich in February looking at a listing on a charter portal. The pictures are the entire product until the guests step aboard.
It also changes when the work can happen. A charter boat is occupied from May to October and the only empty window is turnaround day, when she has been cleaned and the next guests have not arrived. That is a few hours, and there may be five boats in the same fleet with turnarounds on the same Saturday. So the route is planned around the base and the changeover schedule rather than around the weather, and the same framing is kept across the fleet so the listings look like one operator instead of five.

The brief
What the images are for: a sale, a charter season or the yard. That decides everything else.
