Naples builds boats as well as charters them. Between the yards in the bay and the day charter business to Capri and Amalfi, the same week can hold a new build in a shed and a lifestyle shoot off Positano. That mix is unusual and it means the material has to serve two very different audiences.
Vesuvius and the Amalfi cliffs give the film something no marina can. The limits are traffic and airspace: the bay is busy, Capodichino airport is close, and the coast is under protection in places. Flights are cleared beforehand, the rest is shot from the water.
