Simpson Bay Lagoon is the yard and service harbour of the Caribbean, and it is reached through a bridge that opens only a few times a day. Taking a yacht out for running shots means one fixed window and no second chance the same day. A shooting plan here starts with the bridge times.
In return, everything a yacht needs over the winter sits inside that lagoon, and a great many of them lie there between charters. The island holds two countries, one Dutch and one French, and drone rules differ from one side to the other. That gets settled beforehand, not on the beach.
