Drone pilot in Guadeloupe.
Aerial photography and video on both coasts and inland. France requires a declared flight in most scenarios. That declaration is part of the job.

Grande-Terre is low and open, which makes flying around Pointe-à-Pitre straightforward apart from the airport. The marina at Bas-du-Fort holds a large charter fleet, and from above the rows of masts read as what they are: a base, not a postcard.
The picture is an hour south. The bay at Les Saintes is ringed by hills with a narrow entrance, and from altitude it looks like a flooded crater with boats inside it. European rules apply here as in mainland France, so that flight is a matter of planning rather than of applying for anything locally.
