Drone pilot in Saint-Tropez.
Aerial photography and video on both coasts and inland. France requires a declared flight in most scenarios. That declaration is part of the job.
Send an enquiry →The gulf is open, the village is not
Over the village and the Vieux Port in high season there is little to hope for: density, helicopters and immediate neighbours. The gulf, by contrast, is clear. So that is where the footage is made, with the boat under way and Saint-Tropez behind it, which gives a better frame anyway than looking straight down at a quay.
During the Voiles the airspace is managed for the regatta and aerial crews are already working the course. Flights are filed weeks ahead or kept off the race area entirely. For the rest of the year, around Pampelonne and Port Grimaud, planning is straightforward again.
