Denmark has more coastline than a country its size has any right to, and the South Funen archipelago in particular gives you sheltered water, short hops between harbours and a horizon that is never empty. For a photographer that means many usable backdrops within a single day, without long transits eating the light.
The season is short and the light is the reason to come anyway. In June the useful window runs from about four in the morning until close to eleven at night, so a two day trip here yields what would take four days further south. I work with owners, clubs and yards from Copenhagen to the Limfjord.
