Denmark has something the Mediterranean does not: in June the usable light runs from four in the morning until nearly eleven at night. That single fact changes what can be filmed in one day. A boat can be shot at sunrise, under way at midday and in low evening light without anybody staying overnight.
What it also means is a short season. Between November and March there is almost nothing to film on the water, so the work concentrates into a few months and has to be booked early. Yards and dealers who plan their film in January get the weeks they want; whoever asks in June takes what is left.
