Turkey has something no other charter market has in this quantity: the gulet. A wooden hull with that much varnish and that much deck area is a genuinely different photographic subject to a production sloop, and it rewards early morning light in a way a white plastic hull never does.
Göcek and the bays around it also give you water that stays glassy well into the morning, which is the rarest thing on this list. That makes reflection and drone work possible on days when the rest of the Mediterranean is already choppy. I work with charter operators, gulet owners and yards along the whole southwest coast.
