Dutch yards build steel and aluminium for owners who read specification sheets, not brochures. A film there has to show the work, the welding, the fit out, the systems behind the panels, because that is what the buyer is paying for. Glamour shots alone convince nobody in this market.
The second thing is light. Between October and March the usable window on the water is short and often grey. That is not a problem if it is planned for: grey light flatters steel and paintwork, and the interior work fills the hours that are useless outside. Shoots here are built around that instead of waiting for a blue sky that will not come.
