The Stockholm archipelago is the single best argument for flying a drone in Sweden. Thirty thousand islands scattered across open water make no visual sense from a boat and resolve into something remarkable from two hundred metres. The same is true of the forest country inland, where scale is impossible to convey any other way.
Sweden is straightforward to fly in by European standards, and the summer light does the rest. In June the sun barely sets, which gives low golden light for hours instead of the twenty minutes you get further south. Planning a Swedish shoot means picking the hour rather than fighting for it.
